JOINING THE SITE
1. You must create an account in order to join us. We don't care what your username is, as long as it is clean and easy for you to remember.
2. You must read all of these rules and create a character application before posting in the roleplay forums.
CHARACTER APPLICATION
3. Use the given format in order to make your application. Do not leave anything blank, unless you plan on adding to it. You must also include that it is unfinished somewhere in the subject title if you're not done with it.
4. Be as creative as you'd like. And remember: The more, the merrier.
5. Original and canon characters from any source are allowed. We have been known to have a Buffy and a Selene. Just look at the canons before signing up for the character. You also may have as many canons as you'd like, as long as they remain ACTIVE.
6. Do not post in character until you application has been approved. (Secret phrase: Honey & Sulphur)
7. As far as appearances go, you are welcome to use drawings or game characters. Please try to avoid using actual anime pictures though. If you use drawings/game characters/etc, we ask that you also have a real model to back it up. Basically, two models that look alike. For example, one of the requested characters is Alucard, a game character from the Castlevania series. One of the models is Alucard himself, while the other is Lucius Malfoy from the HP sequel. Notice how they look somewhat alike? That's what we're talking about. If you can't find a model with that drawing whatsoever, and you REALLY want to use it, then it'll slide.
Also tying into the model rule, we may be a little more lenient with your face claim than most sites. The same model may be used twice at a maximum, unless there's a way to distinguish the models. For example, we have three different characters using the same model, Dani Filth. One character is using him strictly without make-up. The other two use him with the make-up. We encourage you to avoid using the same exact model as someone else, unless it has been requested for a canon character.
POSTING RULES
8. Past-tense, please! Third-person and first-person are both allowed.
9. No one-liners! You are asked to be creative and to use your imagination. HINT: Be descriptive and include your character's thoughts and physical appearance.
10. You may have as many active threads as you can handle. There is no specific plot but your own.
11. NO MARY-SUES!Nobody is perfect.
12. No god-moding, particularly in fights. Throw a punch if you will, but it is up to the other person if it hits or not. However, you cannot dodge EVERYTHING! No such thing as invincible.
14. If your thread contains excessive violence, use of drugs/alcohol, sexual content, or language, put a warning on either the first post or the subject title.
15. Most importantly, have fun! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me.
